Product Description
- Tea material: Buds and young leaves from ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees (approximately 150–500 years old), naturally grown.
- Base tea processing (green tea): Freshly harvested leaves are lightly withered, then pan-fired/enzyme-killed at high temperature to prevent oxidation, preserving the natural green color and creating a clean base that highlights floral aromas.
- Fresh jasmine scenting: Organic jasmine flowers cultivated in Tay Con Linh, harvested in the late afternoon when the buds are at peak fragrance; flowers remain intact with no bruising or discoloration. The tea is scented with jasmine for 10 hours, then gently dried.
- Usage profile: Easy to drink and refreshing, suitable for daily enjoyment and can be used as a light, hydrating beverage throughout the day.
Flavor profile:
- Aroma: Pure and delicate fresh jasmine, layered over a subtle young-rice note; cool and soothing, like early mountain morning dew.
- Taste: Soft astringency at the tip of the tongue, followed by a lingering clean sweetness; the flavor deepens with each infusion, with jasmine becoming more pronounced from the second to third brew.
Brewing guide (recommended):
Teapot brewing (smooth, preserves floral aroma):
- Ratio: 4–5 g / 200–250 ml
- Water temperature: 80–85°C (boil, then let cool for about 1–2 minutes)
- Steeping time: 30–60 seconds for the first infusion; gradually increase for subsequent brews
- Number of infusions: 4–5 (depending on taste)
Storage – Shelf life:
- Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong odors (spices, fish sauce, perfume, etc.).
- Refrigerated storage is possible if double-sealed (inner bag + outer container) to better preserve aroma.
- Shelf life: 24 months from the production date (when stored properly; once opened, best consumed within 2–3 months for optimal floral freshness).
